EMG19 does not need to be overstated. Its value in the professional line is continuity: another international multi-sport Masters environment, another Competition Manager role, another opportunity to connect sport-specific needs with the wider Games operation.
The difference was the person arriving at the project. WMG13 had been discovery. By 2019, competition planning, venue operations, volunteer coordination and the rhythm of an international event were already part of an established way of working.
